Black History Month: Celebrating Cannabis Entrepreneurs

Join our 1st Annual Black History Month event highlighting African Americans and Black people of color who are pioneers in the Cannabis Industry in New York. We will honor both legal and “legacy” members who continue to pave the way for successful (BIPOC) cannabis entrepreneurship. Enter the raffle to win this grow tent from Follow the Sun. Attendance is free but the tickets for the raffle are $25 and available on Eventbrite or at the door through a QR code purchase (no cash accepted for the raffle). The winner will be announced at 7:20pm and must be present to win.

We will honor:

– Branson B. (Harlem Cannabis Pioneer, Branson Juices, The Sugar Bowl, and Branson B. Champagne)

– Sharron Cannon (Ph.D. in Cannabis Science)

– Regina Smith (Harlem Business Alliance)

– Vikiana Reyes (Executive Director for Medgar Evers College Cannabis Degree Program)

– and more

We will have:

– Spoken word poetry by The Poetic Black Girl (Andrea Augustus)

– Artwork featured by Uncutt – Protect Yo High

– Food + drinks available

Run of Show:

– 4pm to 5:30pm – Networking

– 5:30pm to 6:30pm – Q&A cannabis panel + an awards ceremony

– 6:30pm to 9pm – Networking
