Enter Into The Cannabis Industry

The continuing growth of the cannabis industry has opened up a wide range of career and business opportunities. The Silent Procession NYC4PR, in partnership with the NYC Hispanic Chamber of Commerce and in collaboration with Lehman College, CUNY, organized this event to highlight education and employment opportunities available to the public at no cost especially people who are unemployed, underemployed, or dislocated workers.

Throughout New York City free programs are offered by universities and colleges which have stepped up to provide specialized cannabis education, business support services and training in all aspects of the industry to meet workforce demand. Building on this thriving industry, and in the interests of social and economic justice and equity, members from communities disproportionately impacted by the policies of cannabis prohibition are encouraged to attend the event.
