What is CANY?
CANY (Cannabis Association of NY, formerly NYCGPA – New York Cannabis Growers and Processors Association) is a big tent industry trade association working to ensure that the nascent cannabis industry develops into one that benefits NYS stakeholder businesses specifically, and small and midscale operators more broadly. We represent growers, processors, retailers, prospective license holders, sponsors, and other donors.
We believe that the best outcomes are achieved when regulatory infrastructure produces shared equity for thousands of businesses, not just a handful of big companies.
