Lift Off! Tour stop: Uplift the Community Summit

Cannabis NYC, NYC Department of Small Business Services and Cannaware are happy to announce the upcoming Cannabis Lift Off! Tour stop: Uplift the Community Summit.

This event is a part of Lift Off! and will provide the community with In-depth presentations, interactive activations, education games, resources, and on-site assistance to help uplift and guide New Yorkers on their path to Cannabis Careers, Advocacy, or a consumer/patient becoming more well-informed.

Cannabis prohibition has had a profound impact on communities of color, leaving those who have been criminalized with limited opportunities within the workforce despite having played a crucial role in operating within the legacy cannabis industry that set the foundation for today’s growing legal cannabis market. Moreover, many New York medical cannabis patients —especially seniors, disabled individuals, and veterans—often find themselves lacking the comprehensive support and educational resources necessary to navigate the system effectively.
