NY Cannabis Insider will host another cannabis conference and summit, where industry professionals – from growers, processors and retailers to attorneys, consultants and politicians – will gather for a day of learning, venting and problem-solving. We received great feedback on this roundtable-style mediated discussion format and plan to continue it in some capacity for our next event.
This past May, the event was organized such that the morning session was dedicated to airing grievances from all angles of the industry, while the afternoon session focused on proposed solutions for the same topics (in May, we discussed DASNY, the June 1 cultivation deadline, legacy/enforcement, medical marijuana, and the 4/20 bill). As we get closer to the September event date, we will publish a survey of topics to determine what attendees want to focus on and announce the format/agenda.
The summit will also host keynote speakers/interviews during the day. Lightning-round business consultations will be available for attendees, in addition to multiple networking opportunities, lunch, a happy hour and more.
