SUMMARY:The S.E.E.D. Project - 5 Week Workshop Series
DESCRIPTION:  \nThe S.E.E.D. project workshop series is an introductory education course to prepare potential cannabis license applicants to participate in the “Business of Cannabis in New York.” Our method comprises five modules (areas of study)\, each consisting of three units (classes). The course is a 30-hour instructional\, encompassing 15 classes of 2 hours a piece\, taught over five weeks (three classes per week). They conclude with an exam and certificate after the course. \nCourse Modules \n(1) Introduction to Cannabis: March 28 – 30 \n(2) Cannabis laws & Regulations in N.Y: April 04 – 06 \n(3) The Business of Cannabis: April 11 – 13 \n(4) Ancillary Businesses: April 18 – 20 \n(5) Advocacy & Community Outreach: April 25 – 27 \nFor those who complete the course and pass the exam\, we offer post-course consultation\, assistance\, and referrals to much-needed cannabis industry resources. \nThe cannabis industry is profitable but not easy.
