DESCRIPTION:On Saturday\, May 10th\, 2025\, the High Exposure Agency will support Cannabis NYC’s Lift Off! program with their event\, Cannabis: Art\, Culture\, and Commerce. The multigenerational and bilingual––English and Spanish––event is meant to educate\, entertain\, and inform attendees about cannabinoids. Cannabis: Art\, Culture\, and Commerce will bring together New York City and New York State agencies\, cannabis educators\, medical professionals\, advocates\, local artists and entertainers\, entrepreneurs\, brands\, and others to serve the Uptown area’s diverse community. The free event––for attendees ages 13+––will take place at Boricua College’s Manhattan location from 11 AM to 5 PM. \nPanels including Mindful Consumption and Science Basics\, Intergenerational Cannabis\, and Shopping Local and Shelf Equity\, will feature industry experts Roy Allen (Cannabis NYC)\, Olivia Cahill (NYS Office of Cannabis Management)\, Vladimir Bautista (Happy Munkey)\, Sephida Artis-Mills (United Empowerment Party)\, Dr. Jessica Brens (Cannabacy Health) and many more. After each panel there will be time for attendees to engage in a thoughtful Q&A with panelists. \nNot content to produce a standard cannabis education event\, the founders of the High Exposure Agency have integrated a brief breathwork and movement session with Antevasin’s Maga Villarreal\, an interactive art installation by UnCutt Art\, a mason jar plant growing workshop led by Change Food for Good\, an interactive art making workshop––just in time for Mother’s Day––sponsored by distributor Nabis\, giveaways including a stay at UNIFY Retreat Motel\, and more. Uptown’s DJ Sailor Goon will play an array of music to keep the high energy flowing during the event. \nCannabis: Art\, Culture\, and Commerce has been endorsed by Council Member Carmen De La Rosa and Manhattan’s Community Board 12. \nABOUT HIGH EXPOSURE AGENCY\nFounded by Annette Fenandez\, Amy Chin\, and Kassia Graham\, the High Exposure Agency is an equity-centered organization that supports the New York cannabis industry and communities disproportionately impacted by the war on cannabis. They produce events for the industry and consumers which are educational\, entertaining\, and uplifting.
