SUMMARY:Cannabis Webinar Series: New York
DESCRIPTION:With the ongoing issuance of hundreds of adult-use licenses across the supply chain\, the New York market is quickly starting to scale. But with growth comes new challenges\, particularly when navigating the dizzying array of regulations for licensees looking to operationalize\, ancillary businesses and brands looking to enter the market and for investors to deploy capital. Foley Hoag’s New York Cannabis team will discuss: \n\nThe permissible scope and terms of goods and services agreements with vendors.\nTrue party of interest considerations when looking to raise or deploy capital.\nOwnership restrictions and limitations associated with transfers of licenses (and majority interests of entities holding same).\nConsiderations for provisional licensees hunting for compliant properties and engaging with local municipalities and/or community boards.
